Approachability Statement Steps:

1. Watch the 5 minute video.

2. Fill in the handout.

3. Break your staff into working groups. Get them to share their answers.

4. Place their statements into a binder, and have the binder accessible to all staff.

5. When it's time to give feedback, make sure to check HOW the person wants to be spoken to!
